Students' Perception of ODL Using Telegram as a Japanese Language Learning Platform

Since the beginning of 2020 following spread COVID-19 epidemic, ODL has become new norm in education either at primary school level or higher institutions. This study is motivated to identify student's perception teaching and learning platform chosen by instructor so that session can be optimized will successfully assist students’ attainment Japanese language course. The purpose this investigate how students perceive Telegram as an for Japanese. quantitative used a 5-point Likert scale instrument. survey was divided into five sections. Section A demographic profile, B Learner-to-Learner Interaction, C Learner-to-Instructor D Learner-to-Content Interaction E Learner-to-Platform Interaction. There are 26 items Four Types Interactions. 186 Introductory Level II participated survey. Data analyzed using SPSS Frequency Statistics, Descriptive Statistics Paired Samples T-Test. findings show agree with choice online interaction between students, instructors, content positive. It suggested qualitative studies also conducted explore more about their perceptions being ODL.
